19 February 2007 Canada set for outdoor adventure and travel show
British holidaymakers with a taste for outdoor activities and those interested in adventure travel may be interested in the forthcoming Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show taking place from March 31st to April 1st 2007 at Stampede Park in Calgary, Canada.
Following similar events in Vancouver and Toronto, the event plays host to a number of exhibitors showcasing camping, scuba diving, hiking and kayaking alongside the necessary travel merchandise for such activities.
"The Outdoor Adventure Show, produced by National Event Management, provides outdoor enthusiasts with amazing pre-season deals from over 300 exhibits," the organisers state.
They add that consumers are invited to the event to find out about forthcoming trends in adventure travel and equipment, and to participate in the interactive elements of the show.
Last month, annual travel insurance provider More Than reported that one in eight Britons were planning on taking an adventure holiday in 2007, while 12 per cent are not covered by a travel insurance policy.
